Constructing a plant involves operations such as laying pipes, welding, insulating, painting, and inspection, all of which require specially designed scaffolding. Conventionally, this has required scaffolding to be erected and dismantled repeatedly for each of those processes, a huge drain on efficiency. At Kashiwabara, our specialist scaffolding team has rectified this situation by developing a Comprehensive Scaffolding System that allows a single scaffolding set to be shared across all construction processes, thereby eliminating the need for repeated assembly and disassembly. Our lineup of high-tech, special-use scaffolding includes internal and external scaffolding that revolves around spherical tanks and oil tanks, as well as “gondolas” that can move horizontally, vertically, and diagonally over the interior and exterior walls of cylindrical tanks.

Shot Blasting Machine

Conventionally, removing old paint has involved blasting it with fine sand at high pressure, but this method had its drawbacks: the dust reduced visibility and was bad for human health, and it inevitably generated huge volumes of industrial waste. We sought to overcome these issues by developing an original series of Shot blasting machines. The FB series use scrap iron, which is cycled through a steel grid. The Shot Blasting Machine remove paint effectively but generate only minimal dust, meaning there is negligible effect on the human body and little waste is produced – thus keeping the work environment safe, secure, and clean.
